Advisory Services for IEC (Import and Export Code) Registration
IEC (Importer Exporter) Code is a unique 10-digit code issued by the DGFT (Director General of Foreign Trade), Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, to Indian companies. To engage in importing or exporting in India, an IEC Code is mandatory. No person or entity can conduct import or export activities without an IEC Code Number.
Application for IEC
An application for the grant of an IEC number must be made by the registered/head office of the applicant and submitted to the nearest Regional Authority of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. The application, in the case of a company, should fall under the ‘Aayaat Niyaat Form-ANF2A’ and be accompanied by the prescribed documents.
Validity of IEC Code
An IEC number allotted to an applicant is valid for all its branches, divisions, units, and factories as indicated in the format of IEC given in Appendix – 18.
We offer advisory services to assist our clients in obtaining an IEC to facilitate their import and export activities. Our services are designed to simplify the process, allowing clients to carry out these activities with ease.
Advisory Services for RCMC (Registration cum Membership Certificate) Registration
An exporter seeking to obtain a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) should declare their main line of business in the application. The application is to be made to the Export Promotion Council (EPC) related to that line of business. However, a status holder has the option to obtain RCMC from the Federation of Indian Exporters Organisation (FIEO). Service exporters (except software service exporters) are required to obtain RCMC from FIEO.
Procedure for Issue of RCMC
An application for registration may be made to the concerned registering authority in the form provided in Appendix-3A, along with the prescribed documents. If the application is accepted, the registering authority shall issue the RCMC, indicating the applicant’s status as a merchant exporter or manufacturer exporter (furnishing evidence for the latter).
Validity Period of RCMC
The RCMC is valid from April 1 of the licensing year in which it was issued and is valid for five years, ending on March 31 of the licensing year, unless otherwise specified.
We offer advisory services to assist our clients in obtaining their RCMC from the EPC related to their line of business. Our services are designed to simplify the process, allowing clients to obtain the necessary certification with ease.
